I travel all the way from White rock to downtown Vancouver to get my skin treatments at Skinglow. I’ve had halo 3 times and many Microneedling treatments and my results are always amazing. What is the comfort level of the HALO treatment?

The HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser is unlike traditional fractional laser treatments and is extremely comfortable. Only a topical anesthetic is applied prior to your treatment and the integrated cooling technology ensures optimal comfort throughout the HALO laser procedure. Some clients experience heat with the occasional prickling sensation and continue to feel mild to moderate warmth 3-24 hours post treatment.

How long is the recovery time post HALO?

Swelling and redness is common and expected immediately following your HALO treatment and can be present for 1-5 days post treatment. Depending on your skin and the customizable strength of the treatment, crusting can occur for 3-7 days post treatment. HALO is a resurfacing treatment, therefore can cause additional photosensitivity, diligence in sun protection is a must. Mineral makeup is able to be applied 24 hours post treatment. Taking recovery time is personal to each client’s discretion.

When will I notice results?

After just one treatment you will see incredible results 2-3 months after treating common skin conditions and concerns as well as preventative treatment to avoid future damage. More treatments may be recommended for extensive correction of certain skin conditions.

How long will the effects of the HALO treatment last?

For the treatment of most skin concerns and rejuvenation you will notice the results of the HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser for 5 years and possibly more depending on what is being treated.
