We appreciate your cooperation with these policies as they are designed to ensure the best possible experience at SkinGlow. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team members.

New Clients

We kindly request that our consent forms are filled out prior to the start of your appointments. These are sent to you over email to be filled out electronically. Please send us a quick message or call if after we have confirmed your booking, you have not received your forms.
If you have questions and prefer to fill our consent forms in the clinic, we please ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
Consultation Deposits:
The $50 required is paid over the phone or can be paid online via our website’s Deposit Page
This becomes a credit used towards the cost of your treatments or product purchase.
Consultation with VISIA:
Our in-depth VISIA consultations are part of our skin health treatment  plans – it gives us in depth information about your skin and the best most suitable treatments and products for your unique concerns.
To start, a $50 deposit charge takes place to proceed with the booking time you have requested. This cost becomes a credit towards treatments and products or an additional $25 is charged for a complete skin consultation and VISIA scan.

Late Cancellations or No Shows

Respecting everyone’s time is essential. Please be mindful of our cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice during our business hours to ensure that the message and the cancellation can be dealt with.

Failure to do so will result in a charge of 50% of the treatment you’ve booked or deposit forfeiture. For clients who cancel the same day or don’t show up we will charge 100% of the treatment.

Late Arrival

In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may shorten your service time if you are late to your appointment. As courtesy to others, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment and it may result in a late arrival fee of $50.

Promotions

Expiration Promotion Policy: All prepaid promotions have a 2-month expiration and can be given as a gift. If you buy more than one promotion treatment, the first treatment must be activated within one month from purchase and the remaining will expire one month from the next.

(September 2024 Promotions’ Policy: This month’s promotion appointment must be booked in September. If you buy multiple promotions, the next one can be four weeks later and so on.)

Refund Policy for Promotions: No refunds on prepaid purchase: If the prepaid promotion is purchased and it’s close to the expiry date or you can no longer receive treatment, a credit of the same amount can be used towards products, any other service or be put into a gift card to give it to someone else. We do not offer any refunds on any prepaid treatments.

 

Skincare Product Sales

All skincare product sales, either in-person or via our online shop: www.shopskinglow.ca are final.

Health Disclosure

Your well-being is our priority. To provide you with the best possible treatment, we request that you complete a consent form detailing your health information. Please disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are currently using to help us customize your treatment safely and effectively.

Privacy and Confidentiality

We hold your personal and medical information in the strictest confidence. Your data will only be shared with our team members directly involved in your treatment.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

SkinGlow offers a range of services that are not only safe but also suitable for expectant and breastfeeding mothers. Our highly trained staff is knowledgeable about using products and ingredients that are safe during pregnancy and while nursing. Your safety and comfort are our top concerns

Main Entrance and Buzzer

Our clinic is located on the 2nd floor at the end of the hallway. Address – 1140 Homer St #250B, Vancouver, BC V6B2X6. When visiting us on weekends or weekdays after 5:00pm, to access our clinic, please ring the buzzer number 250.

Wheelchair Access

For the convenience and ease of our clients with mobility challenges, we provide wheelchair access. When arriving, please park in the designated area behind our building along Hamilton Street. Once you are in the vicinity, please contact us, and one of our team members will be on hand to meet you and provide assistance through our elevator.
